Our Covent Garden clinic is based in Garden Studios, which are serviced offices a five minute walk from Covent Garden and Holborn underground station. We have been established in this area since 2007 and in this time have developed a great relationship with local companies and patients who trust us to deliver a good service. Our network includes local gyms, dental practices and corporate companies who refer to us to help them get better.

 

Covent Garden has a long history with the Market in the centre of the piazza and is now a popular shopping and tourist area.The Royal Opera House is the highlight with many other theatres in the district.

Mark Hokan

Mark Hokan

Clinic Director and Lead Osteopath

Mark has over 16 years of experience in both the sports and clinical field and joined the team in early 2011 as an Osteopath, Sports Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer. With degrees in Osteopathy from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine as well as Sports Therapy from the London Metropolitan University, Mark now divides his time working between the two clinics and also at Speedworks, which is a sprinting coaching company based at Lee Valley Athletics Centre. Mark has also worked on the Ladies European Golf Tour as the tour osteopath.

Mark’s experience as a multi-disciplined therapist is invaluable along with his background in sports rehabilitation and working with sporting teams. He has gone from playing semi professional football for a number of years to more recently running marathons and is now up to fifteen. He is chasing that elusive sub 3 hour! 

Emanuela Conte

Emanuela graduated with a Masters in Osteopathy from the world renowned British School of Osteopathy in London. She currently splits her time between working in our Covent Garden clinic and Osteopathy Zone which is based Deptford where she is the principal osteopath. 

She has gained valuable experience over the last 14 years working in Italy, Ireland and the UK working as a therapist treating a range of patients from desk workers to athletes. During this time she has acquired a range of techniques including osteopathy, sports massage, acupuncture and kinesio taping to treat musculoskeletal issues. In her spare time she likes to boulder and enjoys spending time cooking as most Italians do! 

Simona Negro

Simona graduated from the UCO in 2019 where she was awarded a Masters in Osteopathy. She also works as a Pilates instructor, including teaching pre natal and post natal pregnancy Pilates. Simona’s background is heavily fitness based and she holds a level 5 qualification in Sports Massage, is a group fitness instructor and also level 3 perosnal trainer. She incorporates this experience into her treatment and rehabilitation of patients. Simona has a keen interest in workiing with paediatrics and is currently furtheriing her education with studies in paediatric osteopathy. 

Estivaliz Torres

Estivaliz Inigo Torres, graduated from the University College of Osteopathy (formerly British School of Osteopathy) currently holds full registration with the General Osteopathic Council registration. Estivaliz is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and is also a qualified sports massage therapist with more than 6 years practice experience.
Diagnosis is central to Estivaliz’ osteopathic approach. She creates tailored treatment plans for her patients which may include joint manipulation, soft tissue massage, trigger point release, myofascial release. acupuncture and muscle energy therapy. She will also provide patients with tailored rehabilitation and prevention exercise techniques to supplement the treatments.
Estivaliz has competed at national level in Taijutsu, in Spain and has competed at high-level as a long-distance cross-country runner.This has fuelled her keen interest in sports therapies and she is now able to successfully treat of sports related conditions such as ankle and wrist sprains, knee, hip and shoulder injuries, tennis/golfers elbow and other sports-related whiplash. Estivaliz also treats work-related musculoskeletal pain using postural assessment and ergonomic advice.

Garden Studios 71-75 Shelton Street London WC2H 9JQ    The clinic is open Monday-Friday 8am-8pm. If your appointment is before 9am or after 6pm, your practitioner will get in contact to allow access into the building. Once you arrive, take a seat in the reception area and they will call us to come and collect you. The closest stations are Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Holborn which are all five minute walks away from the clinic.
